Description

The Scientific Bulletin of Natural Sciences (Biological Sciences) is a platform for scientists, students and graduate students who carry out research in the field of biological sciences to describe their scientific achievements. The collection is intended to acquaint the domestic and foreign scientific community with scientific research of both fundamental and applied importance. The Scientific Bulletin of Natural Sciences (Biological Sciences) accepts articles that are the result of scientific research in the field of biological sciences and have not been previously published in other publications. The journal reviews the results of scientific research in the fields of botany, zoology, human and animal physiology, immunology and microbiology, plant physiology, genetics, hydrobiology, ecology. All articles are recommended to be published by the decisions of the Kherson State University. The dataset contains an records of all species occurrences that have been published in 7-36 issues of Scientific Bulletin of Natural Sciences (Biological Sciences) (2007-2024). The nomenclature of the dataset follows original taxa names. The materials in Scientific Bulletin of Natural Sciences (Biological Sciences) are especially important in light of the events of 2022, when a Russian full scale invasion. The data from these Scientific readings actually document the historical state of biodiversity before the outbreak of a full-scale invasion war in the southern Ukraine.

Le tableur de données du cœur de standard (core) contient 16 699 enregistrements.

Cet IPT archive les données et sert donc de dépôt de données. Les données et métadonnées de la ressource sont disponibles pour téléchargement dans la section téléchargements. Méthodes déchantillonnage

The dataset includes botanical, zoological, and hydrological surveys using various methods, mostly on occurrences species.

Contrôle qualité Data was recorded according to the methodology used for the temporal scope, or the date of publication was used if it was not specified in the methodology of the source. We used GBIF Backbone Taxonomy (GBIF species matching tool: https://www.gbif.org/tools/species-lookup) for the taxonomic check and implemented minor corrections of species names regarding misprints and problematic taxa to avoid misinterpretation. We additionally checked and verified the header data using OpenRefine (https://openrefine.org/), and QGIS 3.38 (https://qgis.org) for quality control.
