By the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR of October 28, 1974, No. 500 "On the Establishment of State Nature Reserves in the Ukrainian SSR". The reserve was established to preserve in their natural state natural habitats unique for southern Ukraine with the participation of Dnipro birch communities in the Lower Dnipro arenas. On the territory of the reserve, 30 rare species of plants and animals included in the international and national conservation lists and two rare plant formations (9) included in the Green Book of Ukraine have been identified. IUCN World Red List, European Red List - Agropyron dasyanthum, Red Data Book of Ukraine Alyssum savranicum, Astragalus borysthenicus, Betula borysthenica, Centaurea breviceps, Goniolimon graminifolium, Stipa borysthenica, Red List of Kherson region - Inula helenium, Quercus robur The site corresponds to the national importance. The list of the of vascular plants includes 88 species of 16 families. The nomenclature of the vascular plants in dataset follows “Nomenclatural Checklist of vascular plants of Ukraine” (Mosyakin & Fedoronchuk 1999).
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 87 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
