説明

The dataset contains a list of rove beetles (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) collected in the Zakarpattia region. The rove beetles are represented in the fauna of the studied region by 290 species. The study as a whole is based on the results of work of Yu. A. Bogdanov (1975–1980) in the Zakarpattia region.

収集方法

The sampling of the rove beetles was conducted by means of combined Barber traps and hand picking. In most cases, species identification was carried out by Yu. A. Bogdanov personally in 1980–1985, mainly by the structure of the genital apparatus.

Study Extent The dataset contains a list of rove beetes (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) collected in the Zakarpattia region. The rove beetles are represented in the fauna of the studied region by 290 species. The study as a whole is based on the results of collecting by Yu. A. Bogdanov (1975–1980) in the Zakarpattia region
Quality Control The authors are fully responsible for the quality of data provided within this dataset.

Method step description:

  1. Collecting of the materials using different types of traps.
  2. Checking of the species identification within the material of Yu. Bogdanov.
  3. Georeferencing.
  4. Organising of the dataset according to the Darwin Core rules.
