The dataset includes finds of amphibians (Amphibia) and reptiles (Reptilia) within the Kharkiv administrative region of Ukraine.

Sampling Methods

Findings and counting of the number of amphibians and reptiles were carried out on routes (from 500 m to 10 km) and during the survey of registered areas (from 1 acre to 10 ha).

Study Extent The surveys covered a large part of Kharkiv region, first of all - the territory of northern, central, south-eastern and some southern, north-western and eastern districts during field expeditions.
Quality Control The authors are fully responsible for the quality of data provided within the dataset.

Method step description:

  1. Conducting of field surveys with route counting.
  2. Species identification.
  3. Georeferencing.
