Description
The nomenclature of the vascular plants in dataset follows «Nomenclatural Checklist of vascular plants of Ukraine» (Mosyakin & Fedoronchuk 1999). The reserve is subordinated to the State Enterprise "Kakhovka Forestry" of the Kherson Regional Forestry and Hunting Department. The reserve has a significant number of rare species of plants and animals and a certain number of rare plant formations included in environmental protection documents. The total number of natural flora species is 118, including 6 endemic species. The following endemic plant species are included in the European Red List.
Data Records
The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 118 records.
1 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Sampling Methods
Recording and identification of vascular plants with using road-field methods.
Study Extent | The reserve of local importance «Korsunskyi» is located on the territory of the Korsunsky Forestry in Khersondistrict in the Kozachelager sand arena, near the villages of Korsunka and Krynky. The reserve was established for the purpose of conservation and reproduction of wildlife. The territory of the reserve is classified as forests of nature conservation, scientific, historical and cultural purposes and performs environmental and aesthetic functions. The area is home to predominantly pine forests, which alternate with herbaceous meadow cenoses in the lower sandy arenas and psammophytic steppe areas. |

Quality Control | The identification of vascular plant species was held with morphological methods at the field and in the Kherson State University Laboratory of Plant Ecology and Environmental Protection. Coordinates of records were checked using Google Earth service. Data cleaning using OpenRefine. |
Method step description:
- Field sampling.
- Recording and identification of vascular plants.
- Completing of checklist of vascular plant.
- Data post-processing according to the Darwin Core standards.
