說明

As part of the environmental monitoring conducted by the company, a study was carried out to assess the impact of the activities of the gas production department “Lvivhazvydobuvannia” on the flora and fauna of selected areas in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regions during the summer period.The resulting dataset contains records of identified species of plants, animals, and fungi within the surveyed sites. These data were used to analyze biodiversity patterns and to develop recommendations aimed at reducing anthropogenic pressure on the region’s natural ecosystems.

Field investigations were carried out during spring season according to standardized biodiversity assessment protocols. Where possible, species of biota (animals, fungi, lichens, plants) were recorded through visual observations without removing them from their natural habitats, with photographic evidence taken when feasible. Birds were identified either visually or by their vocalizations. All observations were recorded in a field journal. Some animal species were registered based on indirect signs of presence such as droppings, feathers, tracks, shells, remains of exoskeletons, etc. A portion of specimens was collected for further laboratory examination. Species mapping was conducted using the WGS 84 projection system in QGIS software v. 3.10 (EPSG: 4326) with UTF-8 encoding. Coordinates were primarily recorded using a smartphone's GPS, while some points were manually refined using OpenTopoMap. The inventory of habitats under the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats (Bern Convention) was carried out in accordance with: Kraus, D., Bütler, R., Krumm, F., Lachat, T., Larrieu, L., Mergner, U., Paillet, Y., Rydkvist, T., Schuck, A., and Winter, S. 研究範圍 Gas extraction sites in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Nadvirna districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region, and in the Stryi, Drohobych, Horodok, Sambir, and Mostyska districts of Lviv region, Ukraine; summer 2025.
品質控管 Geographical coordinates were primarily recorded using the GPS functionality of a smartphone. In cases where precise GPS data were unavailable or unreliable, coordinates were manually refined using OpenTopoMap. Taxonomic names were assigned based on iNaturalist suggestions, which reflect up-to-date taxonomy sourced from recent scientific literature.
