The dataset consists of records of mammalian species in Ukraine published in Proceedings of the First Ukrainian Mammal Mapping Conference: Mammals on map of Ukraine. Materials of the First Ukrainian Mammal Mapping Conference, Kyiv, Kyiv Zoo, 28–29 March 2019 / M.Yu. Rusin & M.A. Ghazali (eds.). Kyiv, 2019. ― 237 pp. Created under the framework of program European Mammals on Maps. The materials would be interesting for professional zoologists and for those interested in creation of atlases of biodiversity.

Data were collected, georeferenced, and organized by the authors of each articles on their own. Additional data cleaning and postprocessing were conducted by Oleksii Marushchak.
