The dataset includes finds of about 390 species of plants, animals and fungi within the valleys of the Desna River and its tributaries.

If the locality of a plant or animal species was detected, if possible, the point was photographed and geolocated with the help of a GPS-navigator.
| Área de Estudo | The research was conducted in July-October 2021 with addition of some findings from previouse years that had not been yet published. We used reconnaissance and detailed route methods to survey some parts of the Desna river valley and its tributaries in the vicinity of the following settlements: Kyinka, Shestovytsia, Drutske, Ladynka, Chernihiv, Novoselivka, Ripky, Brusyliv, Boromyky, Morhulichi, Berezna, Berezna, Sosnytsia, Male Ustya, Velyke Ustya, Prachi, Yaduty, Snovsk, Zagrebel'na Sloboda, Novi Borovychi, Zhovid, Pishchanka, Yeline, Semenivka, Syadryno, Brech, Koryukivka. Lukash O.V. took part in determining some species. Some of the expeditions were supported by the NGO "Ukrainian Nature Conservation Group". |
