說明

The dataset contains information on the registration of 326 species of animals in Ukraine, which belong to 3 types, 10 classes, 45 orders, and 113 families. The main part of the observations concerns Vinnytsia and Chernivtsi regions, registrations of individual species in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Luhansk, Odesa, Ternopil, Zakarpattia regions and Autonomous Republic of Crimea are also given. The collection of information was carried out both inside and outside territories of nature conservation fund of Ukraine.

取樣方法

The main part of the data will be collected during various zoological studies. Information on the registration of individual species at various stages of development was collected through visual observations in nature (in some cases with photo or video recording) of the animals themselves, as well as the results of their life activities. Insects (in particular, butterflies), which are active at night, were lured to light traps. Fish were caught with amateur fishing gear. Information collected during monitoring of animal deaths on model sections of highways (mainly in Chernivtsi region) was also involved. Observations involving animals that died from a variety of causes are also included. In some cases, verified personal reports of other observers are also given. The coordinates of the registration sites were determined using the Google Earth program in decimal format (WGS84 system). The nomenclature follows the Catalogue of Life.
