The dataset contains a list of rove beetes (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) collected of theof primeval beech forest of the Uholsko-Shyrokoluzhanskyi massif of the Carpathian Uholsko-Shyrokoluzhanskyi massif of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve. The study as a whole are based on the results of long-term sampling of V.O. Chumak (1999–2018) in the primeval beech forest of the of the Uholsko-Shyrokoluzhanskyi massif.

取樣方法

The study as a whole are based on the results of long-term sampling conducted by means of combined funnel cross traps, Barber traps and polytraps. The both types of traps were located within the same site at a minimal distance of 20 km. In addition, 2 cross shaped ground traps were installed in the Uholskyi massif too. In most cases, species identification was carried out by the authors personally in 2000-2018, mainly by the structure of the genital apparatus.

  2. Checking of the species identification within the private collection of V. Chumak.
  3. Georeferencing.
