The database contains data on plants registered in the geobotanical descriptions of the territory of the Ulytsia River valley, which is part of the Desniansko-Starohutskyi National Nature Park (NNP). The materials were partially included in the project of creating the mentioned NNP and were used in the allocation of protected and recreational functional zones. The database contains data on the findings of 426 species of higher vascular plants and bryophytes.

The research was carried out by route methods using the traditional method of performing full geobotanical descriptions. In some areas of broad-leaved forests, geobotanical descriptions were carried out in the spring during the flowering of spring ephemeroids and during the main vegetation period. The set of geobotanical descriptions generally covers the main types of natural vegetation little changed by human activity, with the exception of aquatic vegetation.

研究範圍 The dataset consists of records of plants according to geobotanical descriptions that were made prior to the creation of Desniansko-Starohutskyi National Nature Park in 1997-1999. The studied territory includes the forest massif on the right bank of the Ulytsia River to the bed of the Chern' River within the borders of Ukraine and the floodplains of these rivers between the villages of Ulytsia and Stara Huta (Shostkinsky District, Sums'ka Oblast', Ukraine). The research was carried out under the scientific supervision of Doctor of Science, Prof. T.L. Andrienko (M.H. Kholodny Institute of Botany, NASU). The author expresses his sincere gratitude to the co-authors of the laboratory headed by her: V.A. Onishchenko, O.I. Pryadko, R.I.
