Description
The dataset contains data on the distribution of 66 species of steppe, forest, and open-area-associated birds, obtained as a result of 93 expeditionary field studies.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 441 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Sampling Methods
To study the species composition and abundance of ornitocomplexes, a model series of different in area depression ecosystems was selected, the bottoms of which differ in the presence or absence of permanent water mirrors and nature management regimes: pasture, mowed, fish farming, reserve. Route surveys were conducted to determine the density of steppe species. On the slopes and non-flooded bottoms of the depressions, a visual inspection was carried out from high points.
Study Extent | The materials were collected in the years 2018-2021 in the Dnipro-Molochna interfluve within the southern part of the Kherson region during expeditionary research jointly with Gavrylenko V. S. and Mezinov O. S. |
