Descrição

The dataset includes 582 records of plant species, 27 releves of biotopes and locations of individual species from the National Nature Park “Svyati Hory”, situated in the Donetsk region, Ukraine. National Nature Park "Svyati Gory" is distinguished by its floral and vegetational richness. A significant part of the park is the valley of the Seversky Donets River. The chalk mountains are situated on the right bank of the river, on which rare plant species grow, and relict chalk pine forests are represented.

Métodos de Amostragem

We studied the vegetation and flora of the National Nature Park "Svyati Gory". Most of the releves are represented by forest plant communities, including forests of floodplain, pine terrace, and chalk slopes. Some records include points of the individual species of steppe, chalk outcrops, and shrub plant communities, carrying out the releves. The distribution of the species points was recorded using a Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx navigator.

Área de Estudo National Nature Park "Svyati Hory" is located in the steppe zone, on the right and left banks of the Siverskiy Donets River, Siverskiy Donets tributary valleys, watersheds of the Siverskyi Donets and Makatykha rivers. The national nature park area covers forests and chalk slopes on the right bank of the Siverskiy Donets River, the floodplain and pine terrace of the left bank, and surrounding areas. National nature park "Svyati Hory" is located in the northern part of Donetsk region, in Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts. The total area of the national nature park is 40,589 hectares.
