Description
The dataset contains data on the distribution of 570 plant species, obtained as a result of the analysis of 235 vegetation plots.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 5,956 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Sampling Methods
We collected 227 releves of the natural vegetation of various types: dry, mesic and wet grasslands, rocky outcrops, shrubs, forests, wetlands and aquatic vegetation. The plot size was 16 m2 (4×4 m) for grasslands, 100 m2 (10×10) for forests, 25 m2 (5×5) for shrubs, at least 10 m2 for rocks depending on the aspect and steepness of the slope.
Study Extent | The occurrences are listed in chronological order of descriptions (the first column indicates the numbers of vegetation releves). The authors are grateful to Khodosovtsev O. for help in organizing of the expedition. Special thanks to Bednarska O.I. for species identification of the Festuca genus. We are sincerely grateful to the NGO "Ukrainian Nature Conservation Group" for financial support. We express our sincere gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to finalize the materials and hope for new research under the peaceful sky of Independent Ukraine! |
