Description

The dataset includes a list of higher vascular plants registered within the village of Ulytsia (Shostkinskyi district, Sumy region) within the National Nature Park "Desnyansko-Starogutskyi" and the Desnyanskyi Biosphere Reserve - a total of 338 observations and 329 species.

Sampling Methods

Observations were carried out by the route method (excursion and semi-stationary methods) with the compilation of floristic lists, some difficult-to-diagnose species were selected for the herbarium. The research was conducted in spring, summer and autumn to cover the entire growing season.

Study Extent The dataset covers the vicinities of the village on both banks of the Ulytsia River (a tributary of the Znobivka River). The studied area occupies a moraine-sandr plain on the border with the ancient terraces of the Desna River and the floodplain.
Quality Control The author bears full responsibility for the quality of the data provided in the dataset.
