Métodos de Amostragem

Studies of the species composition and number of birds, mammals, insects, amphibians and reptiles were conducted by route method on routes (from 100 m to 20 km) and in the survey of registered areas (from 1 are to 15,000 ha). The species identification was made by visual and audial registrations as well as due to presence of dead individuals or their remnants. Coordinates were defined with the use of mobile and remoute GPS-devices.

Área de Estudo The dataset consists of 1069 registration points of 232 species of ukrainian fauna. The surveys covered: - the valley of the Kacha river and the western spurs of the Crimean mountains adjacent to the valley of the Kacha river; - adjacent areas of Evpatoria (including Lake Mainak), Evpatoria; - the southern coast of Crimea from Ilyas-Kaya mountain to Yalta and near the villages of Morske and Arpat (Zelenogir'ya); - eastern and northeastern parts of Kerch Peninsula; - Ai-Petri yayla; - Crimean mountains between the villages of Morske, Arpat (Zelenogir'ya) and Bilogorsk, near the Taigan reservoir; - Ilyas-Kaya mountain ridge; - the northern part of the steppe Crimea and the southern and south-western Prisyvashshya, the southern part of the Arabatskaya Strilka spit; - the north-western outskirts of the Kerch Peninsula; - the territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine adjacent to the Sea of Azov and the vicinity of the Askania Nova reserve.
