Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 447 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Sampling Methods
During the field surveys standard methods of route accounting of birds (Hayne, 1947; Ravkin, 1967; Karyakin, 2004), reptiles and other animals were used. Registrations of mammals and insects were made mostly "accidentally" during ornithological and herpetological studies. Counting/detection of owls and some other birds' species was performed using phonograms of territorial sounds of these birds.
Study Extent | The dataset consists of findings registered during field surveys on the territory of Rzhyshchiv CATC and Kaniv district (Kayi and Cherkasy regions respectivly). |
