說明

The dataset consists of more than 4500 georeferenced records of biodiversity (animals and plants) made during field research in 2024. Also separate records, not published previousely, from the period of 2006-2023 were added to the dataset.

取樣方法

Visual registration of individual animals and plants, as well as traces of animal life, is the main method used to collect the data within the dataset. Route methods of count were used for recording animal numbers and registering species diversity (standard methods for route counting and fauna inventory).

研究範圍 The period of time covered by the dataset is mainly 2024 (January - December); also there are additional observations for the period from 2006 to 2023. The records are collected from Kharkiv region (Kharkiv city and surroundings, central and southwestern regions, partly - south and southeast), Donetsk region (western part of Slovianskyi district) and 1 record originates from Poltava region.
品質控管 The author - biologist with long-term experience of field studies - is solely responsible for the quality of the data presented in the published dataset.

方法步驟描述:

  1. Conducting field trips.
  2. Visual registrations of animals (including their traces) and plants.
  3. Photo- and video-recording of the records for further confirmation of the identified species with appropriate specialists.
  4. Georeferencing.
  5. Organising of the dataset according to the Darwin Core standards.
