Description

Location of plant species on the territory of Ukrainian Polissya is highlighted in the dataset. These are data of standard geobotanical descriptions, expeditionary and stationary observations.

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 18,003 records.

Sampling Methods

Species were determined according to Dobrochayeva D. N., et al. The determinant of higher plants of Ukraine, ed. Yu N. N. Prokudin. - K .: Science. opinion, 1987. - 548 p. The names of the species are specified according to Mosyakin S.L., Fedoronchuk M.M. Vascular plants of Ukraine. A nomenclatural checklist. - Kiev, 1999. - 345 pp. Habitats were determined by the method of Brown Blanke. The coordinates were set using a GPS navigator.

Study Extent The data were obtained during field research. Expeditionary and stationary methods of observations were used. The methods were used to make a standard geobotanical description.
Quality Control Authors of the dataset are fully responsible for the correctness of species identifications, information on organisms' quantity and georeferencing. Minor issues and mistakes were corrected by Oleksii Marushchak.
