Description
The checklist consists of species of Cetaceans (namely 1 Phocoenidae species and 2 Delphinidae species) from the fauna of Ukraine protected according to Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans of the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and contiguous Atlantic Area (ACCOBAMS). This agreement was ratificated by Ukraine on July 9th 2003 with its subsequent entry into force on January 1st 2004. Therefore, according to the documents accompanying the Agreement, these species should be under relevant protection on the territory of Ukraine.
Data Records
The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 3 records.
