Description

The checklist consists of species of birds from the fauna of Ukraine protected according to the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds, or African-Eurasian Waterbird Agreement (AEWA). In Ukraine this agreement had its entry into force on January 1st 2003. Therefore, according to the documents accompanying the Agreement, these species should be under relevant protection on the territory of Ukraine.

The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 114 records.
