Description
The dataset represents records of biota (animals, plants and fungi) made on the territory of Ukraine, Slovak Republic, Uzbekistan and Turkiye in the period from 1996 to 2022 by Mykola Drohvalenko and Oleksiy Korshunov.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 2,009 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Sampling Methods
Species were identified visually, audially, by remnants of the body or other signs of the species presence in certain place. All identification, recording and georeferencing sessions were made by professional zoologists.
Study Extent | The dataset represents records of biota (animals, plants and fungi) made on the territory of Ukraine, Slovak Republic, Uzbekistan and Turkiye in the period from 1996 to 2022 by Mykola Drohvalenko and Oleksiy Korshunov in order to preserve valuable information on biodiversity, collected by Kharkiv specialists, in terms of Russian invasion to Ukraine. This dataset was prepared (correctly organized according to Darwin Core standards) and published with the help of the project "Preservation of data on biodiversity of Ukraine during the Russian occupation" funded by "Documenting Ukraine" initiative. The initiative is financed by the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna (https://www.iwm.at/). |
