Description

The dataset includes finds of insects and rare plants in the Znamyan’ske forestrie (Kirovohrad region, Ukraine). It was published in order to save the data on rare biodiversity components which will be used for justification of creation of new objects of nature reserve fund on the studied territories.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 48 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Sampling Methods

Data collection on rare plants and animals was carried out by expedition in the period of 24.04.2021 – 25.04.2021 by R. Lysenko. The species were identified using the visible specific features that are enough for unmistakable identification (especially for plants during the blossoming period).

Study Extent Collection of data took place on the territory of "Black forest" of Znamyan'ske forestrie in spring 2021.
Quality Control The author is fully responsible for accuracy and quality of information provided within the dataset.

Method step description:

  1. Photo and video capture or actually registered species.
  2. Georeferencing.
