Description
The dataset includes finds of 100 species of vascular plants from the territory of the department of the Ukrainian Steppe Nature Reserve of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine - "Cretaceous Flora".

Sampling Methods
The location of the species was recorded during the establishment of the site for geobotanical description. Geotagging was done using a GPS navigator.
| Study Extent | The research was conducted between July 30 and August 1, 2019. By reconnaissance and detailed route methods we surveyed the petrophytic-steppe areas of the cretaceous slopes and pine forests from the village of Zakitne to the village of Kryva Luka and from the village of Kryva Luka to the village of Piskunivka. This dataset was prepared (correctly organized according to Darwin Core standards) and published with the help of the project "Preservation of data on biodiversity of Ukraine during the Russian occupation" funded by "Documenting Ukraine" initiative. The initiative is financed by the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna (https://www.iwm.at/). |
