The database includes registrations of rare plants anf fungi within the territory of the Buzk's Gard National Nature Park and in the area of the dam of the Tashlyk Pumped-Storage power station.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 42 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Sampling Methods

For mapping the localities of rare plant and fungi species the following localities and habitat types were selected: 1. The area near the dam of Tashlyk Pumped-Storage power station between Yuzhnoukrainsk and the village of Buz'ke (mapping of habitats within the habitats of the Bern Convention): 1) E1.11 - Euro-Siberian rock debris swards; 2) G1.7 - Thermophilous deciduous woodland; 3) G1.A1 - Quercus - Fraxinus - Carpinus betulus woodland on eutrophic and mesotrophic soils; 4) G1.A4 - Ravine and slope woodland. 2. The area of the left and right banks of the lower part of the Oleksandrivka Reservoir (mapping within the habitats of the Bern Convention): 1) E1.11 - Euro-Siberian rock debris swards; 2) E1.2 - Perennial calcareous grassland and basic steppes; 3) F3.247 - Ponto-Sarmatic deciduous thickets.

Study Extent Information from localities of rare species was collected by spot mapping using GPS. Areas of the flood zone and the impact zone were selected for mapping the registrations of rare plants and fungi species as data on their distribution in such areas is absent or at least insufficient.
Quality Control The author is fully responsible for the quality of data highlighted in the dataset.

Method step description:

  1. 1. Sampling and registration of species during expeditions.
  2. 2. Data quality control and species identification.
  3. 3. Photographing of findings.
  4. 4. Georeferencing using GPS.
