The dataset consists of records of herpetobiotic and other insects within some parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Regions (steppe area of Ukraine) during 2019-2021
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 2,474 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. Sampling Methods
Sampling took place using the following commonly accepted methods and approaches for collecting of enthomological material: observation and photography of insects in nature, Barbera traps, light traps, collecting with air net, handpicking, Malaise traps, Merike traps.

- 1. Sampling with observation in the wild, handpicking, using Barbera traps, light traps, air net, Malaise traps, Merike traps.
