The dataset includes the findings of insects (Insecta) within the Kharkiv administrative region of Ukraine in the autumn of 2021.

Sampling Methods

Insect findings were made in conjunction with observations (counting numbers, species composition) of birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles on routes (from 500 m to 25 km) and during surveys of specially stated counting areas (from 1 are to 10 ha).

Study Extent The surveys covered a large part of the Kharkiv region, primarily the territory of the northern and central districts of the region.
Quality Control The author is fully responsible for the quality of data provided within the dataset.

  3. Georeferencing.
