Description
The nomenclature of the vascular plants in dataset follows «Nomenclatural Checklist of vascular plants of Ukraine» (Mosyakin & Fedoronchuk 1999). The regional landscape park «Kinburnska kosa» was established in 1992 on an area of 17890.2 hectares. The territory of the park includes the Kinburn Peninsula and one-kilometer strip of Black Sea water, including the Yagorlytsky Bay and the Dnipro-Bug Estuary. Thus, the peninsula is washed by the waters of three different bodies of water, which leads to a significant differentiation of natural conditions. This is also facilitated by the internal hydrological network, which on the surface is represented by a dense network of saline, less often freshwater bodies of water and swamps. Тhe annotated list of the vascular plants recorded on territory of the regional landscape «Kinburnska kosa» in 2007-2009 wich included 596 species of 313 genera, 83 families, 5 classis, 4 division are present. Among them 29 species included to the different Red List.
Data Records
The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 597 records.
1 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Sampling Methods
Recording and identification of vascular plants with using road-field methods.
Study Extent | The regional landscape park «Kinburnska kosa» is located in the south of Ukraine, at the confluence of the Dnipro River and the Black Sea. It is located in the western part of the «Kinburnska kosa» peninsula (excluding the land on which the Volyzhyn Forest Black Sea Biosphere Reserve is located). Administratively, the park is located in the Mykolaiv district of Mykolaiv region. Its land part is part of the lands of the Pokrovska village council, which includes three small settlements (Pokrovka, Vasylivka, Pokrovske). |

Quality Control | The identification of vascular plant species was held with morphological methods at the field and in the Kherson State University Laboratory of Plant Ecology and Environmental Protection. Coordinates of records were checked using Google Earth service. Data cleaning using OpenRefine. |
Method step description:
- Field sampling.
- Recording and identification of vascular plants.
- Completing of checklist of vascular plant.
- Data post-processing according to the Darwin Core standards.
- Data checking and cleaning in OpenRefine.
