Description
The area of Kozatsky Island that was specially investigated for the growth of protected species (the site of the future landfill) covers an area of 0.59 hectares. It is located in the southwestern corner of the island. From the south, it is washed by the main channel of the Dnipro River; from the west, it is separated from the island of Britannia by a narrow strait. The site is confined to the riverbed ridge. In the southern part of the ridge, it is represented by a number of rather high, clearly defined "white" dunes (2-4 m high). To the north, there is a much wider more or less leveled area of weakly defined low "gray" dunes. To the northwest of it is a slight depression overgrown with meadow and tree-shrub vegetation. The dataset include 336 species of vascular plants 16 species of mosses.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 353 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
