Description
The dataset contains information about 1155 specimens of small mammals collected on the territory of the Kharkiv region and stored in the collection of the Museum of Nature at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Samples belong to 19 species of small mammals collected in 15 districts of the region. The finds date back to 1905, 1911, 1912, 1917, 1927, 1931 - 1941, 1944 - 1949, 1951 - 1965, 1967 - 1968, 2008. The largest number of samples dates from 1951-1965. 709 finds belong to 113 authors and 446 samples do not contain the author.

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,155 records.
