The dataset consists of records of mammalian species in Ukraine published in "Materials to the Mammal Atlas of Ukraine": Material to the Mammal Atlas of Ukraine / Series: “Conservation Biology in Ukraine". – Issue 20. – Kyiv, 2021. – 240 p.

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 6,317 records.

Sampling Methods
Data were collected, georeferenced, and organized by the authors of each articles on their own. Additional data cleaning and postprocessing were conducted by Oleksii Marushchak.

| Quality Control | Authors of each particular article are fully responsible for the correctness of species identifications, information on organisms' quantity and georeferencing. Sporadic issues in georeferencing, revealed during data cleaning, were corrected where it was possible, by Oleksii Marushchak. |
