Description

The dataset includes 2184 records of mammals identified in the pellets of birds of prey (mainly owls) in 1924-2010 and covers most regions of Ukraine. Mammal species occurrences are presented according to the data in scientific publications devoted to the diet of raptors (Pidoplichko, 1937; Pidoplichko, 1963; Kuznetsov and Kondratenko, 1999; Kondratenko et al., 2001, 2006; Zaitseva, Drebet, 2007; Buchko, Cheremnykh, 2008; Polishchuk, 2008; Peklo et al., 2010; Mishta et al., 2012).

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 2,184 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Versions

The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
