The dataset represents the digitalized records of birds of various conservation status, found on the territory of Mykolaiv region of Ukraine and which were reported in the scientific article: "Редінов К.О., Петрович З.О., Панченко П.С., Форманюк О.О., Настаченко О.С. Інвентаризаційний список орнітофауни Кінбурнського півострова та прилеглих акваторій у межах Миколаївської області - Berkut. 31 (1-2). 2022.", - and other materials cited in this scientific paper, which contained information of ornithofauna of the target region.

Sampling Methods

The study includes the identification of reliable literature sources, including information on the distribution of birds in Mykolaiv administrative region of Ukraine, containing accurate information on the sites of species detection and has an analytical component (the authors checked the authenticity of the findings, analyzed their relevance at the time of publication). Coordinates of localities are established by verbal descriptions and toponyms with the use of Google Earth Pro software.
