Métodos de Amostragem

This database is the result of the research project "Flora of the Right Bank Forest Steppe". The recording of localities was carried out mainly during the passage of routes through the study area. Localities were fixed both along the routes and at model sites. In several places, the flora and its changes were studied in stationary conditions for a long time. Well-known and recognizable plants were recorded on the spot. More rare, valuable, unknown and other similar plants that needed to be studied in laboratory conditions were selected in the form of herbarium and other types of specimens.

Área de Estudo The Right-Bank Forest-Steppe is highlighted in the official physical-geographical zoning of Ukraine (Marynych O.M., Parkhomenko H.O., Petrenko O.M., Shyshchenko P.H. 2003. Improved scheme of the physical and geographical zoning of the Ukraine. Ukrainian Geographical Journal, 2: 16–20.). It covers the entire territory of Vinnytsia Oblast, large parts of Kyiv City, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Zhytomyr Oblasts and small parts of Poltava Oblast. The research was partly carried out in collaboration with other researchers and naturalists, but the presented list of plant localities was collected by the author directly.
Controle de Qualidade The author is fully responsible for the quality of data provided within the dataset.

Descrição dos passos do método:

  1. Organising of field expeditions.
  2. Recording of the plant species with their subsequent identification (on spot or later in the lab).
  3. Georeferencing.
  4. Organising of the dataset according to Darwin Core standards.
