Description
The nomenclature of the vascular plants in dataset follows «Nomenclatural Checklist of vascular plants of Ukraine» (Mosyakin & Fedoronchuk 1999). The «Oleksandrivskyi» landscape reserve of national importance is one of the objects of the Nature Reserve Fund of Kherson Region, a landscape reserve of national importance with a total area of 996 hectares. Established in 2002 Established according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 167/2002 dated 21.02.02. Тhе annotated list of the vascular plants landscape reserve «Oleksandrivskyi» includes 246 species of vascular plants belonging to 48 families, 3 classes, 1 divisions. Among them, 16 species are included to the different Red List.
Data Records
The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 246 records.
1 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Sampling Methods
Recording and identification of vascular plants with using road-field methods.
Study Extent | The «Oleksandrivskyi» Reserve is located 5 km northwest of the village of Oleksandrivka in Bilozerska district and on the border of the Dnipro Liman. The reserve is represented by a variety of ecosystems, among which the main value is the forest cliff of the Dnipro Liman. Throughout the cliff, ravines, and gullies, there are vertical forest "cliffs" up to two dozen meters high. Here, anthropogenic (Quaternary) rocks are exposed. |
---|---|
Quality Control | The identification of vascular plant species was held with morphological methods at the field and in the Kherson State University Laboratory of Plant Ecology and Environmental Protection. Coordinates of records were checked using Google Earth service. Data cleaning using OpenRefine. |
