The nomenclature of the vascular plants in dataset follows «Nomenclatural Checklist of vascular plants of Ukraine» (Mosyakin & Fedoronchuk 1999). The area is 116 hectares. The was assigned in accordance with the decision of the third session of the 23rd convocation of the Kherson Regional Council dated 25.06.1998 No. 27. Тhe annotated list of the vascular plants recorded on territory of the botanical reserve «Shyroka balka» wich included 145 species.
The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 145 records.
1 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Recording and identification of vascular plants with using road-field methods.
|Study Extent||The botanical reserve is located on the coast area of the Dnipro Estuary. The nature botanical reserve protects the vegetation of grass steppes botanical reserve d in the gully on loess soils.|
|Quality Control||The identification of vascular plant species was held with morphological methods at the field and in the Kherson State University Laboratory of Plant Ecology and Environmental Protection. Coordinates of records were checked using Google Earth service. Data cleaning using OpenRefine.|
