Description
The nomenclature of the vascular plants in dataset follows «Nomenclatural Checklist of vascular plants of Ukraine» (Mosyakin & Fedoronchuk 1999). The area is 194 hectares. The status was assigned in accordance with the decision of the third session of the 23rd convocation of the Kherson Regional Council of 25.06.1998 No. 27.Тhe annotated list of the vascular plants recorded on territory of botanical reserve «Sofiivskyi» wich included 273 species.
Data Records
The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 273 records.

Sampling Methods
Recording and identification of vascular plants with using road-field methods.
| Study Extent | The botanical reserve «Sofiyivskyi» is located on the coastline of the Dnipro Estuary. The nature reserve protects a complex of virgin steppe on forest landslides and aquatic phytocoenoses of the upper part of the estuary. |

| Quality Control | The identification of vascular plant species was held with morphological methods at the field and in the Kherson State University Laboratory of Plant Ecology and Environmental Protection. Coordinates of records were checked using Google Earth service. Data cleaning using OpenRefine. |
