Description
The landscape reserve of local importance "Velyki Sirohozy ravine" was created (declared) by the decision of the XIX session of the fifth convocation of the Kherson Regional Council of October 04, 2007 №412 "On declaring the landscape reserve of local importance "Velyki Sirohozy ravine" on the territory of the Nyzhnyi Sirohozy district of Kherson region". The purpose of creation (designation) of the protected area: The reserve was created to preserve and restore the biodiversity of this area, where typical steppe and wetland cenoses with diverse species composition have been preserved. Rare species of plants and animals included in the international and national nature protection lists are found on the territory of the reserve The object corresponds to the local importance. On the territory of the reserve, 3 rare species and 6 endemics of plants included in the international and national conservation lists. European Red List - Phlomis scythica, Red Data Book of Ukraine - Caragana scythica, Stipa capillata. The list of the of vascular plants includes 121 species of 35 families. The nomenclature of the vascular plants in dataset follows “Nomenclatural Checklist of vascular plants of Ukraine” (Mosyakin & Fedoronchuk 1999).
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 121 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
