The database includes finds of birds (Aves), mammals (Mammalia), insects (Insecta), amphibians (Amphibia) and reptiles (Reptilia) within the Donetsk administrative region of Ukraine.
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,062 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Studies of the species composition and number of birds, mammals, insects, amphibians and reptiles were conducted on routes (from 1000 m to 30 km) and in the survey of registered areas (from 10 ares to 5000 ha). In the northern part of the region hiking trails are about 100 km. Observations were also carried out while traveling in the region by road (private car, bus) and rail.
