The dataset concists of registrations of diferent representatives of zooplankton in the different types of water bodies at the Rzhyshchiv city amalgamated territorial community (CATC).
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 61 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Zooplankton for the studies was sampled on the territory of Rzhyshchiv city amalgamated territorial community.

With the help of Apstein's plankton nets, 50-100 liters of water were filtered. The material was supplemented with 4% formalin. Processing of hydrobiological material was carried out in the Laboratory of Hydrobiology and Technology of Cultivation of Valuable Invertebrates IWG NAAS with the help of the most commonly used methods.

Method step description:
- Filtering of 50-100 l of water from the water body with the help of Apstein's nets.
- Fixation of samples with 4% formalin.
- Species identification.
