Description
The database contains a list of species of animals (as well as some plants and fungi) that were noted by the author in the Sumskyj district in Sumy region.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 3,832 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Sampling Methods
The research was conducted according to standard methods for the study of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and insects, mainly by the method of route surveys.

For identifying some particular species, specialists were asked by the author for clarification or assistance: murine rodents - D.S. Sokolovsky, Insecta - O.V. Vasilyuk, fish - Y.K.
